Curriculum Vitae

For the past three decades, Professor Zhou have been devoting himself to the teaching and research of International Economic Law, International Trade Law, GATT/WTO, Sino-US Relation, the development and opening-up of Pudong New Area, and World Expositions. He also holds current positions, including Senior Consultant of China Society for WTO Studies, Vice-chairman of Law of WTO, China Law Society, Executive Director of China International Law Society, Executive Director of China Private International Law Society, Executive Director of Society of China International Economic Law, Vice President of Shanghai Society for Study of America, Honorary Chairman of International Law Association of Shanghai Law Society, Honorary Dean of Law School of SIFT. He is the Visiting Professor or Honored Professor in many famous universities, including Venice University of Italy, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xiamen University, Tongji University, Dongbei University of Finance & Economics, East China University of Political Science and Law, Shanghai University, Donghua University and also Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade.

Professor Zhou has chaired or participated in the editing of the following publications: Introduction to International Economic Law(1993), International Trade Law(1995), Survey of GATT(1993), Survey of WTO(1995), China's Accession to WTO(2000) and its latest edition(2001),Steps of Minds: Essays on China's Regaining GATT and Entry into WTO(2002), In Tandem with WTO Rules: New Rules & Regulations on China's Foreign Trade & Economy(2003), Foreign Trade Remedies and Investigation of China(2005), A Chinese-English-French Dictionary of Expo 2010(2008), Expo Participation of Regions in World Expositions(2009), Ten Years: Expo 2010 & Me(2011). Meanwhile, he has published more than 200 essays in the above-mentioned fields.
