The sub-forum on Religious Harmony and Mutual Learning among Civilizations of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2024 was held

From March 28th to 29th, 2024, China Committee on Religion and Peace (CCRP) co-hosted the Religion Sub-forum of the 2024 Annual Meeting of Boao Forum for Asia with China Religious Culture Communication Association(CRCCA) and The Buddhist Association of China in Hainan. This year, religious representatives from seven countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Nepal, discussed and exchanged views around the theme " Flow of Dharma to the East and Thousands of Miles of Fellowship—Confronting Challenges and Achieving Mutual Growth Through the Wisdom and Compassion of Buddha" in the form of a round table,to reach a consensus, contributing to world peace by a strong voice of harmony.

Ven. Yin Shun, the leader of the CCRP Youth Team and Vice President of the China Buddhist Association, presided over the forum.The delegates agreed that the teachings of compassion, peace and harmony in Buddhist culture are of positive significance to solving the common challenges faced by mankind, and called for further deepening the exchanges and cooperation between international Buddhist circles,and promoting Buddhist cultural exchanges and mutual learning among countries, so as to contribute wisdom and strength to maintain security and stability in Asia, promote world peace and development, and build a community of human destiny.

Ven. Yan Jue, Vice President of CCRP and President of China Buddhist Association and Mrs.Yu Shuang, deputy Secretary-General of CCRP attended the forum.
