CCRP Held the Second International Seminar on Interfaith Exchanges and Shared Future for Mankind

On November 8th-11th, hosted by CCRP, the Second International Seminar on Interfaith Exchanges and Shared Future for Mankind was held in Beijing. Nearly 30 representatives of Religions for Peace national chapters, religious figures, experts and scholars from China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Timor L’este, Italy, Peru and other countries attended the seminar.Participants from different countries, organizations and faiths conducted in-depth and systematic discussions about the positive role of interfaith exchanges in building a community with a shared future for mankind, demonstrating the significance of cultural exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations and expressing the aspirations of the global religious colleagues for peace, justice and development.

During the seminar, foreign participants also visited the NorthChurch, Lama Temple, Dongsi Mosque and other religious venues in Beijing, as well as Zhongguancun Exhibition Center, further understanding China’s policies on freedom of religious belief and tremendous achievements in economic and social development.
