The Sub-forum “Religious Harmony and Mutual Learning Among Civilizations” of BFA Annual Conference 2023

On the morning of March 31^st, the sub-forum “Religious Harmony and Mutual Learning Among Civilizations” themed “Inclusiveness and Coexistence:Striving for a New Level of Mutual Learning among Civilization” of BFA Annual Conference 2023 was held in Boao, Hainan, more than 100 representatives from all walks of life at home and abroad attended. 

Master Ven.Yin Shun, Head of CCRP Youth Group, Vice President of Buddhist Association of China, and President of Buddhist Association of Hainan Province, and Mr.Elias Szczytnicki,Secretary General of the Latin American and Caribbean Council of Religious Leaders (LACCRL),and Ven.Liu Chengyong, president of the German Taoist Association, and Ven. Sainbuyan Nergui, Abbot of the Sain Nomuun Buddhist Monastery of Mongolia,conducted in-depth dialogues on the theme of sub-forum and made interactive exchanges with the participants. 

Everyone agrees with the speech delivered by the Chinese premier Li Qiang at the opening ceremony,working together to pursue deeper and more substantive people-to-people exchanges to bring greater certainty to the interactions among civilizations.They believe that in an era of great uncertainty, it is vital for us to join hands to seek "certain forces" from our respective civilizations and religious cultures, work together for mutual assistance and dialogue, and contribute wisdom and strength to meeting common challenges and building a community with a shared future for mankind.

The sub-forum on religion is co-hosted by China Religious Culture Communication Association and CCRP, jointly organized by the Hainan Religions Affairs Bureau and the Buddhist Association of Hainan.
