CCRP Hosted RfP-Italy’s Working Visit to China

        From November 23rd to December 2nd, at the invitation of China Committee on Religion and Peace (CCRP), the delegation of Religions for Peace Italy (RfP-Italy) paid a visit to China, led by the Secretary-General, Dr. Luigi De Salvia.
        During the visit, CCRP and RfP-Italy held a working meeting and exchanged views upon developing friendly communications and promoting inter-civilizations. CCRP introduced that China religion circle advocates a philosophy of harmony based on the principles of mutual respect, mutual tolerance and mutual learning to interact with world-wide religions for peace organizations, in order to enhance understanding and friendship for preserving world peace and development. While RfP-Italy indicated that they value the practice of dialogue across different civilizations not only domestically, but also wish to strengthen the communication with China religion circle in order to objectively understand Chinese religion policies and the reality of freedom of religious belief, and further promote the friendship and cooperation with CCRP. The delegation had meetings with leaders from national religious groups in China respectively and visited Baiyun Taoist Monastery, Xishiku Church, Niujie Mosque and Longquan Monastery in Beijing, and Immanuel Lutheran Church in Shanghai.
        The Vice-Presidents of CCRP, Guo Chengzhen, Gao Feng; the Vice Secretary-Generals of CCRP, La Can, Yang Zhibo, Liu Yuanlong; the members of CCRP, Zhang Fenglin, Guojincai, Xu Xiaohong and Kan Baoping joined the relevant activities.
