Obituary of Bishop Ding Guangxun

H.E. Bishop Ding Guangxun, Vice President of the first Session, President of the second Session and Honorary President of the third Session of China Committee on Religion and Peace (CCRP), unfortunately died of illness on 22nd , November, 2012，aged 98.

As an excellent religious leader, well-known social activist and close friend of the Communist Party of China, Bishop Ding Guangxun ever worked as Vice President of the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth sessions of CPPCC National Committee, President of the third, forth and fifth Sessions and Honorary President of the sixth, seventh and eighth Sessions of China Three-self Patriotic Movement of the Protestant Churches, President of the first, second and third Sessions and Honorary President of the fourth, fifth and sixth Sessions of China Christian Council, Honorary Dean of Nanjing Union Theological Seminary, and President of The Amity Foundation.
