The Sub-forum “Dialogue of Religious Leaders” of BFA Annual Conference

On the morning of April 22^nd, the sub-forum “Dialogue of Religious Leaders” themed “Thousand Reflection of the Common Moon, Mutual Appreciation of the Shared Values-Civilizations Flourishing through Exchanges and Communication” of BFA Annual Conference 2022 was held in Boao, Hainan.

Yang Faming, Vice President of CCRP, and President of China Islamic Association, Yin Shun, Head of CCRP Youth Group, Vice President of Buddhist Association of China, and President of Buddhist Association of Hainan Province, and Chen Lai, President of China Philosophy History Association, and Dean of the Tsinghua Academy of Chinese Learning, conducted in-depth dialogues on exchanges, mutual learning and peaceful coexistence between religions and civilizations, among other topics.

Due to the impact of the pandemic, Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, President of the World Council of Muslim Communities, and President of UAE International Center of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism, Kim Hee-joong, Co-president of KCRP, and President of Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Korea, and Luigi De Salvia, Co-president of RfP Europe, and President of RfP Italy, delivered video speeches at the meeting, expressing their willingness to contribute wisdom and strength to promoting inter-religious and cross-civilization exchanges and mutual learning, and facilitating harmonious coexistence of different religions and civilizations.

The sub-forum on religion is co-hosted by China Religious Culture Communication Association and CCRP, organized by the United Front Work Department of CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and Buddhist Association of Hainan Province, and co-organized by China Islamic Association.
