Abdul’ahat Abdulrixit Met KCRP Delegation

 

December 15, 2011, Abdul’ahat Abdulrixit, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, met in Beijing the delegation of Korean Conference of Peace and Religion (KCRP) consisting of representatives from Korean seven major religions.

He said, as important neighboring countries to each other, China and South Korea have got full and fast development in exchanges of various fields since the establishment of diplomatic relations between these two countries. Religious communications of long history are important part of cultural exchanges between these two countries. In recent years, frequent exchanges with high-level, various patterns and plentiful contents serve as one of important channels for the people in both two countries to develop friendly relations. Since signing the agreement on bilateral exchanges mechanism in 2006, CCRP and KCRP have maintained fine cooperative relations, which have contributed a lot to further mutual understanding and traditional friendship between religious circles and people in two countries. He hoped that CCRP and KCRP would deepen cooperation and serve as an important platform for friendly exchanges between religious circles in two countries with a view to more contributions to the friendly relation between two countries.

Choi Gun Duk, head of KCRP delegation showed that they have understood more about China’s real situation of freedom of religious belief and ethnic unity and harmony. KCRP is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with CCRP, consolidate and develop the traditional friendship between religious circles in China and South Korea, and make efforts to promote this kind of friendly relations between two countries.
