Ngapoi Ngawang Jigme, male, Tibetan nationality, a native of Lhasa, Tibet, born in February 1910.
1936 - 1959 Served in local Tibetan government as grain official, civil magistrate and auditor in Qamdo Prefecture and as Qamdo administrator and Kaloon (council minister), and served as vice-chairman of Liberation Committee of Qamdo Prefecture
1951 Went of Beijing, as local Tibetan government's chief representative, to negotiate and sign the Agreement on Measure for Peaceful Liberation of Tibet with representatives of Central People's Government
