Ma Man Kei, male, Han nationality, a native of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, born in October 1919; a university graduate, with an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Business Administration from University of East Asia (predecessor of University of Macau) and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Jinan University. 

1938  Set up a firm in Hong Kong and ran it as manager

1941  Moved to Macao, opened a few firms with his friends and served as general supervisor and general manager

1944  Served as director, vice-president and chairman of Board of Directors of Kiang Wu Hospital Charitable Association

1946  Founded Mercerla San Chong Hong, Limitada

1947  Founded Sociedade de Investimento PredialTai Wah Hong, Lda and served as general manager, president of board of directors

1948  Director, deputy chief director, vice-president and president of Macao Chinese Chamber of Commerce

From 1950  Served as council member, vice-president, honorary advisor of Chinese Educators' Association of Macao

1952  Served as chairman of Association for Advancement of Labor Education

From 1950  Served for a period of time as president of Basketball and Volleyball Association, Table Tennis Association, Swimming Association and Chinese Chess Association in Macao, chairman of Board of Directors of University of East Asia and a number of schools in Macao; as director and  vice-president of board of directors of Guangdong International Trust & Investment Corporation, Guangzhou International Trust & Investment Corporation and China International Trust & Investment Corporation, etc., as vice-president of Board of Directors of Jinan University, Nanjing University and Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Technology, honorary president or schoolmaster of Guangzhou University, Nanhai Secondary School and He Xiangning Memorial School, and as vice-chairman and honorary chairman of Guangdong Federation of Industry & Commerce, Standing Committee member of CPPCC Guangdong Provincial Committee, Standing Committee member of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, Standing Committee member of CPPCC National Committee, NPC Standing Committee member, vice-chairman of Drafting Committee for Basic Law of Macao Special Administrative Region, member of Macao Legislative Council, president of Macao Chinese Chamber of Commerce, etc.
