Zhang Kehui, male, Han nationality, a native of Zhanghua, Taiwan, born in February 1928; a member of Taiwan Democratic SelfGovernment League (TDSGL) and of Communist Party of China; began working in November 1948; an undergraduate from Department of Economics, Xiamen University

1948 - 1949  Studied at Department of Economics, Xiamen University, and later on served as company commander, deputy political instructor of a PLA column operating in the tri-border area of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi.

1949 - 1952  Political instructor of People's Public Security Corps of Anxi County, section chief of the county Public Security Bureau, student at Cadres' School of CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, team leader of Land Reform Working Group of CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, student at Party School of CPC Fujian Provincial Committee

1952 - 1969  Assistant, team leader at United Front Work Department, CPC Fujian Provincial Committee

1969 - 1973  Sent to Ninghua County of Fujian Province to do manual labor, and later on served as deputy chief of Publicity Section of the county Revolutionary Committee

1973 - 1978  Interpreter of Foreign Affairs Section, Fujian Provincial Revolutionary Committee

1978 - 1982  Deputy secretary-general of CPPCC Fujian Provincial Committee, deputy director of Fujian Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Fujian Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, chairman of TDSGL Fujian Provincial Branch, vice-chairman of Fujian Provincial Federation of Taiwan Compatriots
