Hao Jianxiu, female, Han nationality, a native of Qingdao, Shandong Province, born in November 1935; joined Communist Party of China (CPC) in May 1954; began working in September 1949; a university graduate who majored in cotton textile technology at Textile Engineering Department, East China Textile Engineering Institute, and a senior engineer at research fellow-level.

She was elected as an additional member of CPPCC Standing Committee at 4th Plenary Session of 9th CPPCC National Committee.
